Built in laconic, historically applied forms. Comparativelly narrow roof–overhangs characteristic to buildings in Pāvilosta due to strong winds are cut to minimum. The use of similar cladding (aspen tree-tiles) for both the roof and the walls emphasizes, at the same time as it re-phrases, the traditional external form of the building. As it is from a natural material, the cladding will „age“ with time – it will change its color and the form, varying the building‘s image.
